“Adobe Creativity Conducted” Interactive Wall Experience features a holographic-like projection system on which you can paint images and designs using a Nintendo Wii remote control. This full screen Flash application runs in HD resolution, and was premiered during the primary Adobe party of the MAX 07 Conference in Chicago. The experience ran uninterrupted for the duration of the party (4 hours), and received nonstop foot traffic resulting in 68 artistic creations submitted as images to a Flickr account.

The interactive wall was built on Adobe Technologies and Tools, and really shows off how far the Flash Player can be pushed these days. Taking advantage of the latest multi-core capability additions in the “Movie Star” release of the player, we achieved 30-60fps, running at 1280×720 resolution.
In case you missed the wall or MAX altogether, below is the video footage from the event. You can also view the artwork created from MAX on our “Adobe Creativity Conducted” Flickr account. And if you want to see the wall for yourself, it is making its way around the country to the following destinations:
• AIGA in Denver, CO – 10/10/2007 (done)
• FITC in Hollywood, CA – 10/22/2007
• OFFF in New York, NY – 11/02/2007
• Adobe 25th Anniversary, San Jose, CA – 12/2007

BLITZ is also doing an “In The Making Of” session at FiTC Hollywood, at 4pm on Monday, October 22nd. Be sure to check back as we’ll be adding an in-depth, ‘making-of’ post with the inside scoop on how this project came together.

Wow. That’s amazing! Nice work.
what exactly are you using to get the wii mote to move the mouse in conjunction with your mac?
I’m working on somethign for wii motes and macs and would love to know how you got it to work
Is there anyway to see this online? I have a Wiimote hooked up to a Bluetooth USB dongle and would like to try it out. I have the WiiFlash server installed, but… can it only be running locally?
I wasn’t able to see this installation in person, but this is definitely an area of interactive that gets me excited. I can see how using non-traditional, non-web interactive that allows a user to experience a brand is ready to take off. Great work guys!
