This upcoming Monday, March 15th through Wednesday, March 17th, mix and mingle with prominent members of the interactive community as they get down with their digital selves in the city of sin, Las Vegas. For three days, Microsoft is hosting its fifth annual MIX10 conference at the Mandalay Bay Hotel and Casino, bringing together designers, developers and everyone in-between to educate them on Microsoft’s latest and greatest technologies. The conference provides a protected environment for idea exchange and information sharing, and seeks to stimulate creativity and enhance inspiration for further innovations.
MIX treats attendees to three full days of seminars, learning sessions and networking opportunities with executives of some of the largest Web and interactive studios in the world. The best part is that yours truly is leading the mid-conference seminar, “Creating Great Experiences through Collaboration” on Tuesday, March 16th at 1:30pm in Mandalay Bay’s Breakers H Conference Room. BLITZ’s directors, Noah Gedrich (Technology), Eric Perez (Group Creative) and Sean Scott (User Experience) will help attendees explore the art and science of creating great user experiences by sharing the culture and processes that BLITZ has adopted.
With their combined 50 years of industry experience, Gedrich, Perez and Scott have learned that the key to effective collaboration is to form seamless integration between their three disciplines – technology, creative and user experience – and to maintain respect and equality throughout them all. Their 1-hour seminar will teach guests about BLITZ’s tools that have led to its impressive portfolio and unparalleled work environment. They will also delve into how BLITZ runs brainstorming sessions, addresses functional specs, and capitalizes on start-to-finish project management and development processes, to name a few.
Register for Microsoft’s MIX conference at the Mandalay Bay to see these BLITiZens in action and to gain inspiration, knowledge, connections and confidence.
